From certified raw materials

We offer high-quality birch lumber cut to the customer's desired dimensions. We have a PEFC certificate, which means that the wood we use has been grown in accordance with the principles of sustainable forestry and with respect for biodiversity.

We use Finnish birch logs as our wood raw material. Our procurement areas include Northern Savo, Central Finland and North Karelia.

Most of our production is exported, which shows the appreciation of Finnish timber.

Strong but flexible birch

Birch is one of our Finns' favourite woods and an absolute perennial favourite. Although birch is a strong and sturdy wood, it is also flexible and therefore easy to work with. For this reason, birch is widely used, for example, in the furniture industry.

In addition, birch is knot-free, which ensures its even quality. This makes it also well-suited for flooring.
